Overview
Stock Analytics consolidates market data that usually lives in scattered tools: company fundamentals, daily price history, sector classification, and earnings dates — all organized into a single database with everything cross-referenced.
The dashboard layer adds interactive financial charts, custom watchlists with quick-add, and calculated analytics across companies and sectors — groundwork for AI-driven insight features on the roadmap.

The Challenge
Financial data ingestion is an exercise in reconciliation: multiple sources, rate limits, restatements, and the need for imports that can be safely re-run without duplicating or corrupting history.
The Approach
Data flows in from public market-data sources through import jobs that are safe to re-run — duplicates are blocked automatically, failed imports retry themselves at growing intervals (five minutes up to 24 hours), and every operation is logged. Each company's data carries a freshness stamp, so stale numbers are visible rather than silent.
Charts look and feel like a professional trading terminal — candlesticks with toggleable moving averages, RSI, MACD, and Bollinger bands — and watchlists are built for speed. Every ratio is also scored against sector peers, so a company's P/E or margin reads as a percentile, not just a number.
